Our Mission:
Hassan Touray, who is originally from The Gambia, and Chris Mackey were discussing how blessed our children are to be playing soccer with the best equipment, facilities and organizations. Hassan discussed the children in Gambia and their lack of the same, which led us to this small part in giving back.
There are a lot of organizations on the internet that you can join or donate sports equipment. The challenge is trust; who are they? is your donation getting to the children? So here we are – asking for your donations so Hassan and his colleagues in Gambia can ensure the children receive those donations.
Soccer Gear For Gambia is unique in the sense that we collect all the items, pack them, ship and involved on the distribution of the donated items to ensure that the soccer gear make it to the needy youths.
